Abruptly thinking of a post

Written by lam0beaner

Abrupt pressure to post something

After work I checked the topic of the day and felt and abrupt  pressure to get something posted. The OCD side of me wants to get it posted on the day the challenge is submitted but nothing is coming to mind. So instead, I put the word out there and come back to finish it later. Not much of a post.

How do people do it? How do they keep fresh ideas in mind to post? And what do they do when they draw a helpless blank? I attempt to draw from events that happened over the course of the day. If I happen to check the word before my day begins, and my fingers happily find their mark on the querty of my tablet, I say so be it! Otherwise I am left to the days events. If I’m still drawing a blank then I just stick the word out there until I can come up with something. I’m not so sure that strategy is going to improve my reader numbers.

It’s the best I have right now

It may not be the right way, but it’s all I have right now. Hopefully when I have more time I can apply myself, make creative thought inspiring post, put some bells and whistles in it to make it interesting… someday when it’s not so abrupt.
