My name is Jayne.

On this site you will see the name “Lam0beaner” quite a bit, it’s referring to me. It began as a joke amongst my mom, youngest sister and myself. You see, my mom labeled me with the nick name “Beaner” as a child. After becoming adults the three of us would get together and the conversation would ultimately turn into a “who’s lame-er” discussion.

When we bought our first computer in early in the late 90’s, I was in need of a user name and affectionately called myself “Lam0beaner”. To me, it keeps the fond memories of those discussions in my heart.

I am new to blogging.

Actually, I am new to sharing all  together. I have kept most of my life VERY private. Social Media? Oh yes, I have Facebook but it’s private. Yes, I’m on Instagram, but it’s private. Yep, got the Twitter thing going too; you guessed it, private…..

That is up until I created this website. I’m embracing social media and broadening my horizons (and friends list)! I hope you join me on this new journey. It will be the beginning, or awakening, of the second half of my life!

I am retired and hopefully will be able to travel the great United States in a motorhome with my husband of 25 years (I married him in my heart when we began living together). We officially tied the knot in 1999.
